I am a HUGE reader. Like, a couple books a week when I’m in my prime. So, it’s really important to me to raise little readers of my own.
I cannot explain how happy I feel when I catch my little two and a half year old sitting in her reading chair with a book and trying to make sense of the words and images she sees. I cannot express the pure joy I feel when she sees me reading and goes over to her book shelf to grab a book and sit by me. A peaceful coexistence that I hope grows with age.
